– I’m excited to become part of Europress’s commercial growth story and to help build a more efficient and intelligent circular economy.
Europress is uniquely positioned at the intersection of technology, data and circular economy solutions. When we can simultaneously make our customers’ operations more efficient, deliver environmental benefits and create sustainable business value for both our customers and Europress, we are working at the intersection of some truly exciting opportunities, Eljas Tuovinen says.

Towards a smarter circular economy
Europress aims to make the circular economy more efficient, intelligent and sustainable. Technology and data can help reduce unnecessary emptying and transportation, lower customers’ costs and CO₂ emissions, and make operating environments cleaner and safer.
Europress’s services cover the entire lifecycle of its equipment, from planning and installation to maintenance, customer support, remote management and the use of data. Through SMART Center, equipment can be monitored, adjusted and serviced remotely, while real-time data helps customers manage waste and material flows more efficiently.
Sensors, machine learning and automation enable emptying to be scheduled according to actual need. Equipment can automatically request emptying when required, helping customers reduce costs and emissions.
Tuovinen will take up his role as Chief Commercial Officer at Europress in January 2027.
